Quick Start
Get up and running with TeXeR in under two minutes. No installation required, everything runs in your browser.
Create an account
Head to /signup and enter your email address. We'll send a one-time password (OTP) to verify your identity. Enter the 6-digit code and you're in.
No credit card required. The free tier includes 20 image conversions and 40 PDF pages per month.
Create your first project
From the dashboard, click New Project. You can:
- Start blank: an empty
main.texwith a basic document structure - Choose a template: pick from articles, theses, presentations, and more
- Import from ArXiv: paste an ArXiv paper ID to import its source files
- Upload a ZIP: drop an existing LaTeX project archive
Write and compile
The editor gives you syntax highlighting, autocomplete, bracket matching, and live error hints. Your changes are auto-saved.
To compile your document into a PDF, press Ctrl + Enter or click the compile button in the toolbar. The PDF preview updates in the right panel.
Tip: Open the command palette with Ctrl + K for quick access to every action: compile, export, settings, and more.
